Carl Logan is a devoted father and husband who has been undergoing treatment for incurable stage IV cancer for four years. Despite the challenges of his illness, Carl’s passion for family and heritage continues to guide him. He is committed to ensuring his son, Alfie, grows up connected to his roots, particularly his mother’s Zhuang heritage.

Carl travelled to Guangxi, China, with his wife Lin and Alfie, where he fell in love with the people, culture, and traditions, experiences that have deepened his appreciation for his family's unique background. His wife, Lin, has been a constant source of support and strength during his journey, and together, they are dedicated to creating meaningful connections for their son
